So I saw a new mission available on Earth. I'll update progress so far. Spoilers to follow:

1. Head into RAS 2 in a mission called The First Firewall. Fight a bunch of knights and a boss. Get a Curious Transponder. I've heard that you can't start this mission unless you've found all four DVLN relics.

2. Enter codes into transponder to unlock a new mission on earth.

3. Complete new mission where you have 3 minutes to get to the top of the colony ship and defeat 3 wizards.

4. Dismantle a legendary heavy, complete warsat events on earth, moon, mars, and something in the Ishtar archives to rebuild your ISKELOS Fusion Core exotic quest item.

5. ???

So I turn in the core to Banshee, he says it looks like the DVALIN relics but is incompatible and is newer, stronger, and recently made. He says he's going to hand it off to the foundries for a closer look, so I imagine there will be a shiny new Sleeper Simulant sitting on the table come Armsday.

Apparently you have to watch the Knights that spawn in on that first mission. 1st wave = first line of code. Regular Knight = 1, Taken Knight = 2.

As far as we know, there's no way to keep track of how many you've picked up. However, if it's been more than a day or two since you saw one drop, you probably have all four.

I got one on my Hunter yesterday, and hadn't had one for over a week. The best way to check is to just see if you have unlocked the mission.

Turned in. You can't even find a second one until you've turned in the previous one.

Is light 270, and is a Solo mission. Pretty fun though!

Here's to hoping that the push towards microtransactions will result in the unannounced release of future content dumps similar to this. I know this is something that was planned from the start for TTK, but I really hope it's indicative of a future trend. The feeling last night when we saw the new mission was just great. Wholly unexpected and really fun.

Just finish the mission on heroic difficulty. Nothing special to do.

Staying away from the microtrans subject.... I do like this. It spreads out the content, which we would otherwise fly through a week after release. I would like to see this continue through until the next expansion, so there is never a real "down-time".

The new missions completely lack music and have no VO or real instructions. Soooooo creepy.

The solo mission was cool because, well, I think it's the first solo mission outside of the new class quests, right? Anyway I liked it. Of note: The Chaperone *rocked* for that mission. Okay, it rocks for every mission.

Year 1 legendary heavy weapons count for the heavy weapon dismantling (Don't worry, my perfect roll BTRD went to a good cause).

I love how the mission just showed up with no announcement. I hope this becomes the way of the future. So fun to just discover it!

Is it forced solo? Are the class missions? Me and Leviathan split up because we both felt bringing another class to a class mission would be wrong. Could we not have in the first place?!

The new mission is definitely forced solo.

I remember when playing my class mission it actually says Players: 1. All other content in the game that I've noticed say Players: 1-3 (or more based on activity).

I was running through the story with Lawnmower's alt a few weeks ago, and we got to that point. He selected the mission and it told us our Fireteam was too large for the selected activity.

If you completed yesterday's stuff, the Gunsmith will have a mission for you to do a 280 version of Fallen SABER strike. Completing it and returning to the gunsmith nets you a 290 attack Sleeper Simulant.
