Guess I need to devote a whole thread to my question (Destiny)
if I did only the First Firewall mission, can I pick up where I left off and do Shadow Call today?

I think so, but I'm not 100% sure. I believe it was just that first part of the quest that was limited to yesterday.

I realize this isn't very helpful, but you'll know within 30 seconds of getting to the director screen. :)

I saw your question, I just didn't know the answer. I'm not sure anyone does for sure, save for Bungie. I doubt many folks did the first mission without also doing the second.
Like Claude said, though, you'll be able to tell us pretty quickly after firing up the game. :P

True that. I was just too tired to play any more last night.

Good thing to skip, then. Sprinting/jumping/minor fighting with a time limit is a pain in the butt when you're exhausted. :)

It should be there. I ran it really late with oholiab to get him through and it gave me a second transponder. I entered the codes last night but didn't run the mission. It was there this morning so I'm assuming if you obtained the transponder it'll work.

I really hope you can!
But I did it anyway last night just in case. Stopped there. It was pretty late. =)

Heh, I WASN'T exhausted and it had me cursing. One of the wizards on the way up caused me to fall off. And I feel off a few other times just because I was trying to rush.
There's no rush, though. I had 40 seconds left when I got to the top. Black Spindle took care of the Wizards up there pretty quickly.

Heh. Not all of us have one yet. :)
(Sunbreaker hammers killed all three in about 6 seconds. :) )

Well that doesn't sound too bad then. :P
I was just worried that I wouldn't have enough time to take them out once I got there, so I was rushing and making sloppy jumps and toppling off the edge. Didn't need to worry so much, though.

I used the Chaperone. 5 shots to the face at point blank per wizard, very easy. I even slow walked (reloading) from one platform to the next.

I also have guns!
I used a sunsinger warlock. I blasted the real wizard with two grenades real quick and punched him.
Then I whipped out my Eireine (?) RR4, the high impact Omolon sniper, in void. 3 shots each on the taken wizards. Donezo.
