I had been worried about that being a grind, but we got super lucky...

I thought you liked the grind. Hadium flakes? Oh Cody don't be silly delayed rewards blah blah… Interesting how now you are worried about it being grindy. :-p

The ironic thing is public events are more of a 'do them while you are doing something else and they pop up' events than looking for chests :-p

And they should be. But Bungie's quest design cuts against that scenario when they put in hidden timers, unspecified delays, and missions that are only available for a limited time.

For all anybody knew, maybe the next phase of SS would not be available until much later unless the warsats were done before the next reset.
