King's Fall thoughts (Destiny)
Yesterday, I had 2 runs of King's Fall and both were under 1 hour 30 minutes. This feels like a really good amount of time investment for a Raid, and it has been fun to go back and replay. Rewards are pretty weak--I don't actually like any of the Raid weapons so far. Still no Ghost.
Each encounter is very mechanic heavy, so when you have a new player or someone changing roles, there can be a little trouble there. It is fun to change up roles, though.
I've found it to be a very different experience with a different classes. Primary Warlock, but I got my Hunter Raid-worthy and that poor little guy is so weak. The jumping puzzles themselves weren't bad because I've held on to my Year 1 Bones of Eao and swapped them out as needed, but while I had ease with the jumping on my Warlock during Deathsingers, doing Relic for Oryx as a Hunter was a bit of a challenge, getting that second jump just right to deal with the varying distance on the platforms.
2 gaze holder strategy on Golgoroth is the way to go. The strategy that we worked out on our blind Raid continues to work great, only doing bubbles on one side, but juggling gaze to get the puddle players the best positioning and duration to burn the guy.
I did an LFG Raid from r/fireteams that wanted "experienced players only" and it went fantastic. The only wipes occurred at the Deathsingers, and one of the Oryx bubble phases went so quickly that I was never teleported. Oryx encounter is a lot of fun with a good group.
Bring on hard mode!

I've only ran the Raid twice, and didn't change roles, so I'm eager to do that! I only got to do the jumping once during Deathsingers.

The Hunter jump does make it difficult, but one in our party (SteelGaribaldi or Red Robber, can't recall which) realized that the entire puzzle is possible with no double jumps, except the one towards the end where you have to jump up onto another ship.

I am eager for Hard Mode. But the time I started playing Destiny and actually did any raiding, I was at 34, so overleveled for both previous hard mode raids.
All indications point to there not being a a Hard Mode in the traditional sense of just making shit higher level with no revives, but to them actually changing things and making it a unique experience, which could be amazing.

I know I've said that, not sure if Red did as well.
I've fallen A LOT at the Ships, so I have carefully watched everyone else (often from death cam), and realized that most of the jumps down were easier than we were making them. Usually it's a running jump, timed just right.
King's Fall thoughts
I had the total opposite problem. Hunter being my primary, the jumping puzzles were a breeze. I typically run the relic, and hunter is by far the easiest for me with triple jump. Titan is manageable, I just have to go slower than I would on my hunter. Warlock is god-awful. Sometimes I cant even make it on the starting plate the first try because I hit something and just hover around. To give you an idea, if we get all the plates up without any problems, I am usually able to get to where the knight spawns before he spawns, unless its the furthest plates obviously. On my Warlock, I tend to get there when he has been around for about 4 seconds.
