Comforting Words About Microtransactions from Luke Smith (Destiny)
Luke Smith has shot down most if not all the rumors going around about microtransactions.
and then over at neogaf:
Couple things:
The Valorous/Heuristic/Indomitable Light were Three of Coins-like buffs sold by the Speaker for Motes+Planetary Materials (I honestly don't remember exactly what they cost, [but it was never Silver] I can't keep the entire economy in my head) but for a variety of bug-related reasons they were removed. They were also - as has been pointed out - in the data files before TTK shipped.

That is comforting news. On a related note about nightfall

Thank god, I've lost all interest in nightfalls, especially on top of the fact that they're near impossible now and just not fun.

Silver drops?!

"For Silver"
We aren't (nor are we planning) on selling consumables that buff King's Fall drop rates for silver. Meaning, they won't sell items for silver that give you greater chances at having drops from the raid.
The importance of commas. I think.

This is the biggest issue to me. They aren't fun.

Took one look at Arc Burn SABER and noped the hell out
Not for 3 Legendary Marks. Nope.

SABER warsat + Arc Burn + Exposure = No freaking way

Hasn't this one come up before?
It took some doing, but we eventually beat it. The warsat was by FAR the hardest part.

It was void, so it was really no big deal.

Except for the shank boss mini guns.

It wasn't that bad...
The only real issue is the Warsat, but we have a workaround for that one. ;)
I also love/hate that Taken Captains kill you with a single blind-O-ball. Makes them scary...

Wasn't all that bad...

We also had a little trouble on the arc hallway. (Got through it eventually.)
There's a workaround for the Warsat?

Huh.
So if EVERYONE goes down there, and you all die leaving... do you wipe? (Better question: where do you respawn?)

No wipe, since Darkness zone lifts
So, yeah, no idea where everyone spawns. o_O

It depends.
If everyone wipes, you respawn at the entrance to the area (towards Forgotten Shore), but you can go ahead inside the Bunker.
If you die down there, you can respawn outside of the bottom area (usually at the entrance to the area).
Outside of not being able to get out alive, there's no downside to doing the glitch (also apart from skipping the fun encounter of being swarmed by Arc weaponry while your group is defenseless and out in the open)...
The ledge juuuuust to the right of the above video is easier. I've had an almost 100% success rate getting underground on the first try.

I can confirm 100% of that post's content.
