the fact that you stopped after you killed him tells me you were happy. I played this morning, hammers were literally winning matches. When playing solo I just focus on killing near the objectives, and letting my team cap (because I know I can kill, and they can at LEAST stand in a circle). Plenty of matches this strategy worked, I won 3 of 4 games I think. But once the hammer train started, there was no stopping it. 3 times in 1 match I was killed by a hammer, respawned, and was killed by the SAME Hammer. Luckily my coffee hadn't really kicked in, so my reaction was just a weak sigh.

It's like one of those 80s TV shows where there's a long-running bad guy that everyone hates, and then a new bad guy shows up and everyone hates them even more. So when the old bad guy comes back and kicks the snot out of the new bad guy, it makes everyone strangely happy :)

We had a time last night where a Sunbreaker was stupid enough to do his super right next to us. 3 of us burst him down right as the animation finished. Then we just laughed at him.

Wish I had a vid, but I got the most satisfying sunbreaker kill last night. I was 2 bursts into my usual 3 burst kill of a titan when he popped his super. Sunbreaker comes out and... I shot him the third time. I started laughing so hard I had to retreat behind my team until I could aim again.

Protip: Don't activate your super when you only have a sliver of health left.

Wish I had a vid, but I got the most satisfying sunbreaker kill last night. I was 2 bursts into my usual 3 burst kill of a titan when he popped his super. Sunbreaker comes out and... I shot him the third time. I started laughing so hard I had to retreat behind my team until I could aim again.

Protip: Don't activate your super when you only have a sliver of health left.

That's funny, because I almost threw my controller out the window 2 nights ago when I had a Sunbreaker down to a sliver of health, he popped his super, and the health recharge overpowered the shots I was still putting down on him until he nailed me with his hammer. GAAAAAH! lol
