That Stag looks cool, but I have never found it to be useful. It's not often I'm the last person alive on my fireteam, and I'm not convinced I've ever seen it's signature perk activate.

Hereafter is a fun Sniper Rifle. It looks and sounds AMAZING, and I use it a lot just for that reason. It's perk, Perfectionist, is similar to White Nail, but for mobs. You have to get precision kills, not just land shots, but if get all precision kills with it's 4 round magazine, it automatically regens 4 rounds. It does not pull ammo from your reserve.

EDIT: Glass Needles cost 3 Motes, 3 Strange Coins, and 1 Exotic Shard. It does not reset experience on the upgrade nodes when you use it, which is nice.

I gave the new No Backup Plans a quick test this morning. I think they'll be useful. Would I rather get into a back and forth punching match with a Major or shoot it with Invective in order to get my Force Barrier? Invective almost every time. (Putty I don't have a year two Invective... Yet. )

Possibly. For venturing out into the wild I'll really appreciate Invective's infinite ammo. But in the Crucible? I'm thinking maybe yes. :)

Anybody know if a Golden Gun with Celestial Nighthawk can down an active Sunbreaker?

While Perfectionist is a cool perk, I believe the real exotic perk is Blinding Light which has a chance to blind the nearby enemies. The Hunter exclusive Legendary sniper rifle also has Perfectionist, and while it's always satisfying to get it to proc, it's nothing I'd give up an exotic slot for.

Of course it really just seems like Hereafter is a combination of interesting perks instead of just a single powerful perk.

Yes absolutely. It does 6x one normal shot, and 2 normal shots take down a Sunbreaker, so you are doing more than 3x the damage than you need to kill a Sunbreaker.

It has to. I know the nova bomb one shots SunBreakers. I know because I died twice because of that in IB.

Have your teammates kill themselves at the end of a round of Elimination for some free super energy.

It'll cost you your soul though.

Yeah. I believe they are just slightly tougher than a single normal Golden Gun shot when they do a max armor build. Celestial Nighthawk give you a 6x shot. You'll vaporize them!

I loved my Hereafter and used it for a while. The sounds ARE amazing. I need to get it up to a higher light level so I can justify using it again (currently @ 296).

You're definitely right about that. I forgot about the Blinding Light perk. It's been a while since I've used it.
