I picked a few of them up, but each time ended the same. I would go to a Destination, do all my other bounties, finish off my weapons order things (headshots, kill minotaurs, whatever) and still only be halfway through some of petra's bounties.
I kept two of them for over a week and finally deleted them last night.

I think I'd be happy if Xur just picked a spot and stayed there. This far in, I don't think running around the tower to track him down adds anything to the game. It just wastes time, IMO. I'd like to just fly to the tower and know exactly where to find him.

They should turn Xur into M'aiq the Liar from The Elder Scrolls.
He'll not regularly show up in the tower, instead, he'll roam the entire gameworld at random. You'll never know when or where to find him . . .

I imagine that to be like Treasure Goblins in Diable 3. You see Xur and every guardian is like "GET HIM FOR HIS GOLDEN ENGRAMS!" It would be like a public event.

For some reason this conjured up in my mind the image of the bat from the old Atari 2600 video game. They both wear black & are in random places. Fortunately Xûr doesn't rearrange your inventory & vault at random or run off w/ your legendary engrams & drop them off for other players.
