A little disappointed with raid content timing. (Destiny)
I like King's Fall raid. I like it a lot. I've completed it 5 times on my warlock. Making assumptions, next Tuesday will likely be #6.
I am still "gearing up". My light level, while certainly not bad, is hovering around 304-305. I can push it as high as 306, but with non-optimal gear. I have, for the most part, good, not great weapons. My highest heavy I've ever received is 300. My highest boots are 298. I'm waiting on RNG drops in the raid to improve those and don't expect there to be any other way. Not to mention that I've only had 3 primaries drop from the raid -- a hand cannon the first week and, this week, 2 pulse rifles, one on my warlock, one on my titan.
I feel that Bungie pushed out the raid a bit too soon. It was a serious sprint to make it to normal mode opening weekend. I felt like I pushed past some content a little faster than I wanted to to get there.
Now here we are in what feels like the same boat. When it was mentioned that they planned on releasing it on the 30th but bumped it up a week to the 23rd I was a bit speechless. It feels too fast.
Are people really running out of things to do already, that they have to accelerate the release schedule?
Maybe this is sour grapes -- I mean we are getting the new stuff early right? It really feels a little ungrateful that I'm even posting this.... But I'm not done with what I have now... and I play what seems like an awful lot. Am I missing something?
