Exotic Armor Quest Theory (Destiny)

I have a theory that soon we will see a class specific exotic armor quest. I am beginning to wonder if this is Gunsmith associated, because no one has leveled gunsmith before this expansion, which would be why we have not seen these yet
I looked around and it appears that no one has these yet. RNG isnt THAT bad, someone at least got Twilight Garrison.
They could be somehow tied to Trials of Osiris, perhaps exotics that are only obtainable through playing or perhaps the lighthouse even. I am OK with that thought, although alot of people understandably won't be.
What do you guys think?
Edit: It appears that the Astrocyte Verse has also not been dropped yet.

How many strikes did it take you to get them all? Did you run Nightfalls or another playlist?
Based on what I've heard and seen from people, you can get the cloak(s) whether you launch the strike from the director or get it in a playlist, but it seems that the drop rates are much higher in the higher difficulty playlists...
Well, I just got all three psion flayer cloaks
I got the solar cloak eons ago in the heroic playlist.
Took us 5 nightfall strikes last night for me to get both the arc and void cloaks. Running with 2 other hunters and only one of them got a cloak (arc) in that same time frame, so I consider myself very lucky.
Of note: The flayer you kill last determines the type of cloak you can get. Here's our strat:
- Clear the "ambush". Advance to next area with 3 cyclopses. After you kill the 3rd cyclops, the door opens and you can skip any enemies left alive (plus you can skip all the ones who spawn in) - just use invisibility smoke and run past.
- Next area use a shadow shot to kill the vex (they don't attack until you shoot them) and then a second shadow shot to kill the wave of vex that spawn in when the first wave is clear. Should finish this area is like 30 seconds total.
- Boss room! when you start the fight, there will be 2 waves of legionnaires that spawn along the balcony area where you are when you start the fight (2 waves from each door). Kill those guys while picking off the other adds. Once all adds and both waves of legos are dead, decide the order you want to kill the psions in.
- If you kill a psion, more waves of adds will spawn. So don't kill any. DPS the first two psions down to a tiny sliver of health (the "final triangle"). One of these two psions will be the color cloak you are trying for. Then kill the last flayer and immediately murder the other two (remember the one you kill last is the one who may drop that color cloak) before the adds spawn in.
Pretty easy if you do it this way. Good luck!
PS: The arc cloak looks amazeballs.

I'd actually expect these items to be acquired similarly to Black Spindle - rewards for hidden daily heroic mission challenges.

The fact that each is a class-specific item makes that problematic, though.
