Well, Then...(Last Time--I Hope) (Off-Topic)

Alright. I formatted my hard drive, and reset everything to its factory settings, and I'm back on Windows 8, which isn't really surprising--it came with the unit. But now that's over with, there are a few questions I have in order to make sure this next part goes smoothly.

1. Do I restore my backed up drive now, while the computer is empty, or do I re-install my programs and restore it later? Also, how can I do this as sensibly as possible, so that the files are actually working, and not just sitting there being copied on the new drive?

2. Should I re-upgrade back to Windows 10? I honestly don't care either way--the only reason I'm leaning towards 10 is because it's the most current version and I got the update for free. That, and I know if something goes wrong and I talk to a Microsoft tech, the only thing they'll say is upgrade.

Thoughts?

1. Do it selectively. Do not use a built in restore function, it may give you your problems back.

2. Upgrade.
