You get more points for a capture. 100 per player in the capture zone then 600 when it captures. Only 450 for a disarm.

I think his point is that disabling is disproportionately easy compared to disabling. Two disables are worth 30% more than one capture and are much more than 50% easier than achieving a single capture.

His narrative lines up with my (very minimal) experience with the gametype; attempting a lot of captures generally results in a low success rate, and an opposing team can win without ever attempting one.
