Trials Gear dropping at 260 light level (Destiny)

I suspect that it depends on your underlying rank when you complete the bounties. If you're at 5+ wins I bet you get better loot than if you're not "levelled" yet with trials for the week.

I also suspect that good rewards are once a week (per account), to prevent really great players from overflowing with great loot within a few weeks.

Based on game theory, what you just said, and pure speculation... =) It might just be RNG being RNG. I suspect there's more than just RNG though as all 3 of our team were getting the same results in the same timeframe.

Hmmm. That all makes sense.
