And I never want to play Trials again, EVER. I've had enough of this last second screw overs. It doesn't mean as much to get wiped out of the running early on, but when you're literally on your last game and you get destroyed and can do nothing about it, it really makes you never want to even touch Trials again. It's not fun, it's not relaxing, it's by far the most frustrating and annoying and bullshit thing I have ever played in this game and I really never want to go back. Hell, if I ever do manage to make it to the lighthouse once, it will be just for that damn emblem just to say I've done it and I never have to do it again.

Did you guys try again with Speed? I'm assuming you had similar results.

We did try again with speed, twice. Our final card was 8-2 (1 loss with mercy, 1 without, which was the match #9) If I never see a 1000-Yard Stare again it will be too soon.

Its funny you should say that, I had never used 1000-yard stare until Trials this weekend. Now I am in love. Its not as good as a Stillpiercer, but probably the best I could find for my other classes.

What makes it so good? the aim assist?

To Start yes Aim assist. The High Stability. High Impact. The vendor roll is great for PVE, but you can get some pretty good RNG ones. Mine has Outlaw and the Ambush SL25 sight, which is my favorite. Also the fact that it has year 1 sights is great. I don't care for most of the new sights. Some of the omolon ones are manageable like on the Eriene.

I think I saw more Hereafters in Trials than 1000-Yard Stares. People were really banking on that 100 aim assist value.

After Trials, there are four snipers on my hate radar:

1000-Yard: best all-around and easy to get
Hereafter: For long sightlines and snapshot kills
Stillpiercer: If Hunter
Eirene (LiTC): Worse in every way, except for the filthy toe-shots.

I'm a bad sniper and I have no honor. I embraced the body shots with the Eirene, and it was fun.
