Doesn't the rumble go away when the batteries are about to die? That's jarring as hell for me and definitely annoying enough to make me get up and change.

yes.

When running Eneloop batteries, it seems like i get another 15-20 mins after the battery indicator pops up. I'm guessing here, but usually with less than 5 mins left, the rumble goes off, and it is jarring (esp if you are using an auto rifle and all of a sudden the rumble stops).

On a side note, I've noticed that at the daughters/Oryx, my rumble will intermittently go out, and come back after a reload, even with full batt. It only happens at the daughters/Oryx. I've noticed it with Monte Carlo, The raid pistol, and Zhalo.
