8-0 No mercy buffs used.
Lose 4-5.
Lose 2nd game 4-5 while ahead 4-2. Opponents go to the lighthouse.
D_P_Roberts grieves :-(

That was heartbreaking.

Ironically, I was too bummed out to hit left on the D-pad and grieve, lol.
It was a rough night

We definitely found our stride, but for me i think fatigue took the best of me. I was awake but not as alert as I was when we first started.
Not tooting my horn, I got to the lighthouse today, and noticed something. We FLEW through our ticket today, facing only 1 team that beat us. The rest were relatively mediocre. I know friday night is when the better players do their trials, but when ottermack and I went yesterday, we had little competition. I am beginning to think that during the day is when the best time to play is. You have a bigger pool of players, including children who have bedtimes, to play against.
We will get them next time.
last week we got destroyed friday night late, during the day today we got 4 straight wins before hitting the trials wall.
Unfortunately it was the ticket I didn't put boons on, so I only got 4 wins, not 6, which would have gotten me that awesome helmet that I love but get made fun of in. =)
