And we know of how you began in the Golden Age. With your RECORD CHASM logs detailing dangerous, life threatening experiments meant to forewarn us of some approaching evil. Anyone who has studied the FWC's history will know they cannot not, MUST NOT, be rallied to.

Those experiments were entirely staffed by volunteers, and suspended once we realized how dangerous they are! But they still gave us details necessary to prepare for the conflict the City will face!

Dead Orbit wants to decentralize to avoid a single point of failure for the species. Totally different from running away.

According to the lore they want to abandon The City, The Traveler, and The Earth. There's even a possible future in a grimoire card that shows a giant Dead Orbit fleet fleeing, even leaving ships that break down behind. I've never seen anything that suggests they want to decentralize. If you have anything I'd legitimately be interested to see it :)
