Inspired by Reach? (DBO)

I saw a fluff article on BBC about architecture with a picture that caught my eye.

Anyone think the architect played New Alexandria?

I know, the aesthetic is not totally unique, but it struck me as very similar in this instance. Also, Bungie please give us a proper photo mode. I got a little sad when I went into it again after all these years...

Very doubtful the architect played Reach. Probably some of the poor souls who are working too much and making too little for that firm have played it. But even then, it's doubtful they had enough pull to get that into the building. Nice thought though.

Yeah, I kind of assumed it wasn't actually inspired by Reach, but it just looked so much like it. I always loved the design of the hospital in New Alexandria and thought it would be amazing to visit in real life. I suppose I can do that now.

Heh, the glass walls always messed with me there. Still, probably a good safety precaution.

Energy Conversion Centre
Windsor, ON N9B 1K6, Canada

It's literally a power plant for the University of Windsor. You can see it from the Ambassador Bridge, one of the border crossings south into Canada.
