I'm pretty sure most of us wanted to do this after that cutscene anyway.

Is it in this case?

That was pretty great, but it's "its."

But it’s not????

“Its” functions the same as his or her in a sentence. e.g. I saw its aura vs I saw her aura.

“It’s” represents “it is” in a sentence. e.g. It’s going to be a long day vs It is going to be a long day.

If you can substitute the word “her” and have it mostly make sense, use its. If you can substitute “it is” and have it make sense, use it’s.

Or... did I just fall into a troll trap.

You're right, but I think nico just misread the title--that tricksy postnominal adjective will get you every time, and it's a generosity to call the title grammatical as written.

As I interpret it, the title means to say:

[This is a different version of] Halo 3's ending, but it is lore accurate.

I think nico interpreted it to say:

[This is a different version of] Halo 3's ending, but its lore [is] accurate.

Ah, that makes sense.

After all, he’s 7 feet tall, and can jump. Makes sense.
