I will probably do a Xbox 360 Community Game night since I imagine that will be where most of the beta players will be playing. And if not enough people are playing on the One during the beta, I'll probably switch to the 360. More friends trumps better graphics any day.

Question below. Please forgive my lack of knowledge. I honestly can't keep up for you experts.
Do beta players need to have xbox live gold? I seem to recall seeing something about only needed it for pvp. What about public events and the co-op strike?
In case you were curious, I have another xbox that I might set up to let my kids experience the beta... If I don't need to purchase another membership to do so.

It hasn't been totally explained yet, but the thinking is anything you can do by yourself... like the world exploration in Patrol or the story missions is doable without paying. If you want to do anything that involves joining a Fireteam, like Strikes, Raids, The Crucible, you'll need Gold.

Yeah so far this is confirmed for XBL/PSN with the final game, but not completely sure with XBL with the Beta...
