Weight of Darkness x20! (Destiny)

Found an amusing glitch while attempting to do the flawless raider thing today (I didn't disconnect once!)
The weight of darkness for me went up to 20x.
It also increased two times for every normal increase, and at 10 I was still running slowly. Has this happened to anyone? What causes this?

I had this happen once but I don't know what caused it.

I've never seen that before, but all it makes me think about is Goku training beyond Earth's gravity and such. Gotta get over 9000 dude.
