LDR 5001 > others ?? (Destiny)

The great new snipers such as LDR 5001

Can anyone give their opinion of this gun please? I don't see why people are favouring it so much. I have final boss which has better stability and rate of fire with the missed shots returning to mag perk.

Experiences/opinions why the LDR 5001 is > final boss? Other than 300+ attack, please.

Same impact as Icebreaker, good range, and the Vanguard version comes with Armor Piercing rounds. My void one has field scout, and I bought an arc one with AP rounds from vanguard.
