True with snipers yes, but not so much with hand cannons. They do so much damage per shot, often any more damage is wasted as overkill. This is why surprisingly Fatebringer is still extremely effective even in high level content compared to other 331 hand canons. When you think about it it makes sense. It's only an extra shot if the enemy has between 1500 and 1700 hp, which most don't.

That's my point. The Attack value isn't as big a deal as the UI would have you believe, and most hand cannons have similar impact with a variance of, at most, 20%. Snipers can have wildly different impact stats, so the ones with the best impact are usually your go-to weapons.
