LDR 5001 > others ?? (Destiny)

I used Final Boss as my main sniper of choice in Vault of Glass, but I stopped once I got the LDR. Final Boss still has some pretty intense recoil, but the LDR just can't be beat against Atheon. Time's Vengeance combined with Weapons of Light = 18,900 damage to Atheon. It also decimates Knights in the Crota Raid.

I don't usually snipe in Crucible, but I still prefer to use my LDR since I'm comfortable with it. I should probably just use Praedyth's Revenge, but I never do. I suppose if sniping were higher on my priority list I would.
