I found one a while ago, and the attack was like, less than a hundred. I didn't even bother and just deleted it.

That is a darn shame, friend. As it stands, that's the only way to get the new Mythoclast-tier exotic from the Crota Raid, and it sounds crazy good (killing an enemy causes it to explode Thrall-style). I've heard talk of people farming hours for it to no avail.

Upgrading it to the Eidolon Ally gives you a pretty solid auto rifle (think Atheon's Epilogue with better stability), which I somewhat enjoy using, even though I don't often use Auto rifles... Just gotta wait for Hard difficulty (hopefully tomorrow) in order to be able to upgrade it to the Necrochasm.
