The truth will set you free
Truth rocks, but it is rare I feel comfortable giving up my exotic slot for it. :(
I actually find tracking to not be very useful in PvP. More often than not, it curves into a wall or something. Proximity detonation is way better in my experience.
As far as heavies go, I don't really use rockets the much anymore. In PvE, Terminus is great, and Sleeper Simulant is really great. Grenades take care of crowd control.
Truth is great, but I don't find it a must have.
