Differences in Ratings (Gaming)

I got the PS4 Heavy Rain / Beyond Two souls physical disc finally.

Fascinating was the differences in ratings. The ESRB has indicators for Blood, Intense Violence, Nudity, Sexual Content, Strong Language, Use of Drugs.

The European Version? Just violence and "bad language".

I guess sex and drugs are no biggie over there.
