I'm betting it is the shader that bungie applies to all Taken character models. The way the tone fades across the character models looks like something that is applied to the model globally rather than piece by piece. Although it would be kind of cool if that was the new armor's default color :)
Yeah, but if that is the default color for the armor, how would you even use a shader on that? not at all?
