Yes, it's a special occasion, but it is the only occasion where sniper rifles wouldn't get a OHK. We should now be able to res snipe using mid impact guns like the raid sniper. For those upset about sniper rifle nerfs in crucible, this should feel better.

It's not all that "special"....especially since they've also made rezzing harder to pull off in this same update (must be closer, takes longer).
Res-sniping is one of the most frustrating (cheap-feeling, as a receiver) camp-strategies I can think of; why is it a good thing that it is now even EASIER to accomplish? Why should a lower-impact SR be able to do the same thing as a high-impact SR (OHK on crit thru shields)? If that's the case, everyone will just gravitate to the faster, larger-mag, lower-impact SR's. We agree on one thing; all these tweaks haven't changed anything in terms of "expanding your options", they've just created new "optimals".
