Great... (Destiny)

I don't mind that rezzing is a trade-off; putting yourself in harms way to get a teammate back. But with the combined changes it is now incredibly LESS desirable to attempt a res. Either one of the changes I wouldve been ok with; take longer or be closer, but with both combined with the sniper buff...choosing to res is not a trade off anymore, it's just handing the other team points.

I know annoying play is annoying, and you can't "nerf annoying", and I know I'll still get res-sniped from the same players as before, but they didn't have to make it easier.
They've just increased the possible pool off annoying players.

I don't have a problem with res-sniping for a few reasons:

1. It's not as easy as some players make it look. It actually requires very precise aim and timing.

2. Trials shouldn't be too forgiving on players who die. If I walk into a sniper lane and get shot in the face, that's my mistake and the enemy team deserves a significant advantage.

3. Res-sniping has many counters. There's the old res-slide combo that your teammates can use to push you out of the way as they res you. But beyond that, if the enemy team is hard-scoping your orb, they are now essentially down a player as well. The remaining 2 teammates can engage the 2 roaming enemies on relatively even ground, and force a situation where the enemy sniper must move their attention away from the orb. It really isn't that tough to deal with res-snipers, it just requires some thought and planning.
