Oddly, almost every shader looks like ass on a hunter (Destiny)

The color palette for hunters seems to have different primary/secondary/tertiary priorities than titan and warlock do. It's very odd, but I can usually tell that a shader that looks like ass on my hunter will look amazing on my titan.

If you don't like a shader, it might be because of your gear.

It is really dependent on the gear variant you have with hunters. Much more so than on Titans and Warlocks. For instance, the Iron Banner pants and the New Monarchy pants are very similar in style/cut, but they have inverted color mapping. Between those two, I can get a good look from a lot of shaders that I initially dismissed. Spectar varients also use different mapping.

In an ideal world (where there is still a reward/progression system), you wouldn't unlock shaders, but you would unlock colors and you could map them however you wanted.
