I want more passing of time (Destiny)

That's what Bungie should've done. Swords one week, Wolves another week, Taken week after that. Switch. Do they even DO Pike Invasions any more? (Probably, but I'm on a tear here.)

I'm officially over the Taken warps. And anyone who didn't get Destiny before May 2015 has missed out on two great(and admit it, at this point--refreshing) world events.

Side note: Notice that the Swords were about 5,6 months...the Wolves were four months...and unless Bungie has a rabbit's foot in that jar with the dog's head, that the Taken warps has been a full year?!

Seriously.

The House of Wolves was scattered until Skolas was set free by The Nine, and the Taken weren't even in our solar system until after Atheon, Crota, and Skolas were defeated. The big public events are one of the few things that mark the passage of time in Destiny and you want that taken away?

Considering that Oryx has already fallen and the quests could fall under the title "Mop Up Duty", I don't see why they can't narratively have some "Crota's minions have flared up again, get out there and take their swords guardian" action. It doesn't need to be on a weekly event, and Eris's ship doesn't need to come back, but I like the idea of Patrol being even more alive.
