Two Strategies (Destiny)
I believe there are two prevailing strategies for managing this. I haven't run either yet, this is just based on some reddit posts and common sense. For both strategies, there's a change in positioning for the empowered guardians. Without the challenge, the empowered people could always position themselves next to a Teleport location relative to Aksis (e.g. if Akis was on the left, the empowered people would position front, back and right). With the challenge, the empowered people will always position in the same locations regardless of Aksis' current location so they can stun or supercharge as needed.
Independent Left/Center/Right:
In this case, the empowered people are only responsible for their own section of the room. The left and right guardians stand on the yellow and black striped areas, and the center guardian positions in front of the back platform.
- If Aksis goes left, the left guardian stuns while the center and right guardians check their plates and supercharge
- If Aksis goes right, the right guardian stuns while the center and left guardians check their plates and supercharge
- If Aksis goes front, the center guardian stuns while the left and right guardians check their plates and supercharge
- If Aksis goes back, the center guardian stuns while the left and right guardians check their plates and supercharge
The guardian that will stun Aksis should already be on his back - as soon as the supercharge message appears in the feed they need to stun him.
What's new here is that the center guardian must stun Aksis if he goes front AND if he goes back (up until this point, most groups have the left and right guardians handle the front, but that won't work with the challenge since they're going to be busy supercharging.
Center/Right Crossover:
In this case, the center and right guardians share some responsibility to make it a bit easier to cover front and back. Left is still only responsible for left, but center and right cover each other. The left and right guardians stand on the yellow and black striped areas, and the center guardian positions at the stairs in front of the right supercharge plate.
- If Aksis goes left, the left guardian stuns while the center and right guardians check their plates and supercharge
- If Aksis goes right, the right guardian stuns while the center and left guardians check their plates and supercharge
- If Aksis goes front, the right guardian stuns while the left and center guardians check their plates and supercharge (center covering the right side supercharge)
- If Aksis goes back, the center guardian stuns while the left and right guardians check their plates and supercharge
As with the other strategy, the guardian that will stun Aksis should already be on his back - as soon as the supercharge message appears in the feed they need to stun him.
What's new here is that the center guardian may supercharge on the center or the right, depending on whether Aksis goes right or front respectively. The right guardian stuns on the front or right side and covers the right supercharge if Aksis goes back or left.
