What's happening here? (Gaming)

As usual, I manage to get myself outnumbered by enemy Titans with my own Titan on the brink of destruction. So I say "Yolo" and decide to rush on foot, because 1 pilot taking on 2 Titans seems like a great idea to me. Meanwhile, Munky has managed to sneak up behind the 2 enemy Titans in his own Titan, and he starts wrecking them while I wall-run at them from my side. I use my grappling hook to pull myself towards one of the enemy Titans, with the intention of stealing his battery. But I can barely see because of all the smoke and fire and explosions. To my surprise, I end up drop-kicking an enemy Pilot who was riding on the back of the Titan I was trying to rodeo... I didn't even know he was there. Adding to the confusion, the Titan we were both on top of exploded at that same moment.
