Lol you really think they'll use microtransactions to do that? Word.
Sure, almost every other game that uses them does that, why would Destiny be different?
It makes sense too,
More Players in game-> More chances to hook large spenders -> more money. Long term engagement and content drops are pretty key.
Microtransactions, consumeables, etc align developer incentives player and developer incentives in a game like Destiny in a postive way"
