The problem is that it starts focusing on character interactions and goes on to describe not only the one mission, but how other characters feel about Faith being on the mission, and then showcases different stages of that one mission. Of course, that ends up being the catalyst to the plot (lol), but people watching a trailer don't know any of these characters, so they don't really need to know about their early defining character traits and interactions.

Isn't that the best way to get people interested in the characters? Learn quickly who they are and what they are about. People don't ultimately care about the gears of the plot that much. They care about the people turning those gears!

That time could have been showcasing the antagonist's perspective or something, since most of the trailer just reiterates on the "these guys are bad news!" dialogue without viewers seeing anything about them.

Hard to do any of that without spoilers. Can only work with what the game gives me. And to be honest, the game gives you shit.
