I asked for an extra code and was denied. The reason I was given was to cut down on resellers.
The alternative is to go through the line multiple times to get one additional code.

Yeah, I'd heard that Bungie were being so careful about codes the last time too. Like, it ain't a big deal if extra codes can't be given out, but at the same time it sucks that scalpers are doing this and ruining it for every other legitimate person that can't go themselves but has friends that do. =/

It's a good think I'm not morally opposed to pirating and emulating decades old games that Nintendo refuses to sell me in a reasonable way. I would happily buy a SNES mini, if I could find one, and I would happily buy a Link to the Past on my Switch if Nintendo would quit fucking around, but until then, I'm also more than happy to just emulate it. /tangent on shitty Nintendo.
Scalpers suck, period. A few years ago, my favorite band, Brand New, did a mini tour and tickets sold out within minutes and were being scalped for hundreds of dollars. And, of course, there's the Taylor Swift shitshow currently happening with Ticketmaster right now (while we're talking about shitty companies, fuck Ticketmaster).

Turns out the crowd was bigger than Bungie expected... they’re going to run out of codes before today ends. There just aren’t extras. (Also, assholes selling these on ebay aren’t helping anything.)

So...
I still have problems with my feet and I'm under doctors orders to stay off them so I rented a scooter and got a medical badge that let me skip some of the lines. I was only able to do one day at PAX so I made visiting bungie at the paramount a priority. The panel area wasn't accessible so I missed that :-(

But I was able to go to the store and play some crucible. Going through my haul afterwards I find I have two codes; one from the crucible play and one from the store. I didn't realize the store gave me one too. Not being a good capitalist I'm willing to raffle one away but don't know how to go about it. Is there a specialized tool or Firebuilder like thing where people can sign up and I pick one at the designated time? Fireteam Builder doesn't seem like a great tool for such a thing but neither does picking from a bunch of me-too posts on the forum. Ideas?
If you want to pick someone at random, you can use an online wheel spinner thing. This is the first that came up for me: http://wheeldecide.com/ Just put in the names of people who want the extra and let it rip. As for who wants an extra, at least Zero, Zane, Unoudid, Funkmon and Korny do, everyone else though I'm not sure.
