i'm only up to Io, but one thing that is bugging me *SP* (Destiny)

This was discussed briefly in the Spoiler thread down below. I asked the same question but an answer was never really noted and I am hesitant to express my theories as it seems you are early in the campaign?

yeah, had a family emergency Wednesday that prevented me from getting on until Sunday night, so i'm trying to play catch up. I think i'm at level 15 now, and just unlocked Io.
