So faction rally is basically an event to see who can grind the most.
Yup, same as every other game's faction wars.
Hopefully they weigh the scoring by faction size, or they'll end up with the Lin Kuei situation that Netherrealms did with MKX.
Faction wars tap into that spirit of competition stuff that gets folks playing a bunch in a short time. Helps online populations (especially if Crucible and Public events are the most rewarding).
I think I'll be using the exploit that grants you double Public event rewards in the race to the finish. :P
