I remember when my friend got that game for Christmas (Gaming)

It was already old by that time, but I remember that we were taking turns, just a few of us, but trying to beat it. In between my turns, I would go into the computer room where the teenage older brother ALSO got a game for Christmas for his Mac: Marathon. I had seen Doom before so I knew the genre but this was the first time I watched a guy play an FPS for any long period of time. I loved that he could go into coolant, and dual wield guns. I just thought it was the coolest thing in the world.

That stuck in my head for so long, when I was old enough I made sure to play the Marathon games on his old computer all the time when I could. But the first time I saw it, it was during a Sonic spinball break.
