Stream of consciousness stuff like this just has never agreed with me, but, I did enjoy the punchline. I’m guessing this wasn’t actually based on a real Raid experience, but I could totally see all of that happening. The struggle to figure out the room. The voiced realization. A member of a fire team offing themselves in lieu of a facepalm.
So yeah, good job. :p
lol thanks buddy. High praise given your caliber of writing acumen. And yeah, not a real story, but I figured it was plausible enough. Writing fiction that takes into account the game mechanics was kinda fun. That bring flags if you wanna go potty joke made me pretty happy when I thought of it.
