Shadow of the Colossus (Gaming)

It’s not really very similar to Journey at all, it’s just a feeling. A feeling of melancholy and loniless. Journey has the opposite of that if you ran into people, but it was extremely lonely if I found myself without a partner.

Shadow of the Colossus is (or can be, I guess) lots of wandering around these huge, beautiful, sort of sparse environments on the way to the next colossus. That’s the part that feels like Journey.

For the record, I've seen enough of the game to know that you weren't talking about gameplay mechanics.

Journey doesn't work if it doesn't speak to you on an emotional or metaphorical level. Based on my friends' comments in the past, this game had an emotional impact on them. Your comment just pushed me over an edge I was already standing on. :)
