Mars: Another Log on the fire (Destiny)

These symbols also appear in the Mars image of the cut scene. I'm wondering if there's any significance in the 4 shared ones?
Also, there's some text in this one.
Any guesses as to what they might mean?

I wonder if those symbols are names for the places the Traveler has visited? Or at least planets/locations. It would explain why there were two names in the same section/slot because those could be two planets in the same solar system or something.
