Something is happening on Nessus (Destiny)

Fun(Fun?) Story: Last week before I became even remotely aware of "Whispers" I was on Nessus in the "Watchers Grave" sector. I had just finished a Public Event (The Servitor One) when... odd... all around me there was phasing in and out of existence explosive blocks in the air. I instantly knew something was up, and I recall wondering if there was an order to shoot anything and how to go and figure such out.

This sounds like one of the normal missions I remember playing. An Adventure, maybe? Sounds like you happened to be there when someone else in your instance was playing through that part of it.

Then I saw 'im. A Huge Boss sized Minotaur. I've actually since then have been able to fight it twice. Each time, it seems hard coded to move to a certain spot. Before it dies, it's always by the portal in that area. The one with all the horizontal blocks of stone. You get nothing for killing it, as far as I've seen at this point.

Naturally, both times I've gone into the portal to see if anything is triggered or different. As far as I've been able to ascertain, there is yet none. The portal takes you to a space called "The Chamber of Water". Bunch of standard Vex. Nothing telling.

I can't remember for sure if the big Minotaur was part of that mission, but it's definitely possible. I may have to play through it again on another character to see.

I have no recollections of the Adventures on Nessus, so this very well may be.
