How is Forge matchmaking this broken? (Destiny)

I would rather load from orbit than trek there. And why did they have to put Watcher's Grave and Exodus Crash so close together? I wanna run the forge, not that crappy strike.

It's amazing how often I make it into the strike without noticing.
