That's definitely crappy. If the free version was available (or known to be free) before the PS5 version was released, couldn't you cancel your preorder and save the cash?
No, because that’s not how they handled the release. The Ultimate Edition was available for purchase and download like six months ago. It’s just the game with the two DLCs included, and it was the last gen version of the game. They just decided the Ultimate Edition is the only one that will get a next gen upgrade, while the people that bought the game at release plus the two DLCs at more than twice the price of the Ultimate Edition can go fuck themselves.
