Outriders is a good example of “greater than the sum of its parts.” No individual aspect of the game is incredible, but it adds up to an extremely compelling and fun experience.
Like you, I’m extremely here for the B-game bullshit story. I wouldn’t say any of it is well presented, but I do want to know what’s going on, so I’d say it’s working for me.
