If one game being the best were enough to declare an entire year the greatest, then the greatest year in gaming is forever 2000, because that's when Deus Ex came out.

Did you sleep through that entire year or something? (For the record, I personally count major expansions. Some people may not.)

I remember when I used to play other games.

Gotta say, though, even in their current, revised versions, Uncharted and Mass Effect have not aged well. Not nearly as well as a much older game, namely, Halo:CE.
