Has anyone done the new Exotic Quest? (Destiny)

I did the first mission, but haven't started the second one yet. It's neat so far, if a little annoying to figure out where to go.

It was a pretty fun mission. Luckily my son had already completed it (solo of course) and he guided me through. Still not sure if the gun was worth it, it doesn't fit into my play style, but the health regen melee is pretty cool.
