Ultimately, I do agree that theater mode is more important. The ability to do machinima and pore over replays of Raids/Strikes in order to strategize, etc. trumps fan creation. But I can't imagine that segment of the community would really be left out in the cold.

What you're talking about here can exist without Theater mode. You CAN do machinima and replays from a first person perspective--look at Rooster Teeth, look at Twitch. But you can't create any new experiences without Forge.
